He was asked the question about his future plans at the post match presentation of the 2nd semi-final which his team lost to Australia.
There was buzz surrounding Dhoni's retirement from ODIs and it was widely thought that this might be his last world cup of the 50-over game. He has already announced his retirement from the tests, leaving the captaincy to Virat Kohli.
According to Michael Clarke, Australia's captain, Dhoni still has a lot of cricket left in him and he hopes to see Dhoni in the next world cup. Dhoni was one of the few Indian batsmen who were able to the sustain the pressure from Australian bowlers during the match. Dhoni scored a patient 65 before being run out.
