CricVerve will be looking at the squads of all the IPL sides in the 2015 edition. We start this feature with the squad of Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Sunrisers Hyderabad had a largely forgettable tournament last time around. So this year, they have made some glaring changes to the squad that participated in the previous edition. Aaron Finch, Amit Mishra, Darren Sammy, Irfan Pathan, Jason Holder and Brendan Taylor are notable players who were released by the franchise.
However, the team retained a core of more successful campaigners like Shikhar Dhawan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Dale Steyn, David Warner and Karn Sharma. With squad additions such as Kevin Pietersen, Kane Williamson, Ravi Bopara and Eoin Morgan, Sunrisers have surely boosted their batting prowess. Bowling has also been strengthened by the inclusion of world cup sensation Trent Boult and Indian swing ace Praveen Kumar. There is a catch however, as Kevin Pietersen has recently signed a deal with Surrey which would allow him to be a part of Sunrisers' campaign only if they reach the knockouts.
The team will be led by David Warner and the supporters would want to see the Aussie's batting aggression in his captaincy. Here is the complete squad:
